Setting Up Your UE Account

STEP 1 – SET UP YOUR NEW PASSWORD

You must first reset your temporary password to one of your choosing at passwordreset.517b2b.com. After choosing your new password, it may take up to 15 minutes before it works properly on all systems.

The Office of Admission sent an email titled University of Evansville Next Steps with additional information on accessing your UE credentials (username, email, student ID, and temporary password). Contact the admission office to have the email resent if needed (admission@517b2b.com). Credentials for students entering in fall 2025 will be issued beginning in January 2025.

STEP 2 – CHECK UE Email

Click on the “WebMail” box or visit outlook.office365.com. Assuming you have established your own password (see Step 1), you should be able to access UE Email. Here are instructions for adding your UE email to your smartphone:

STEP 3 – ACCESS STUDENT SELF-SERVICE

Click the “Self-Service” box or visit selfservice.517b2b.com and log in. This is where you will manage your financial aid, billing, housing/meal plan applications, and other UE business. When logging in to Self-Service your User Name will be only the beginning part of your UE Email (the letters and numbers before the @517b2b.com.)

STEP 4 – ACCESS AND EXPLORE MyUE*

Click the "MyUE" box or visit MyUE.517b2b.com. MyUE is the campus’ access and information portal. Links to important campus sites and resources, news, announcements, and a calendar of events is available for your convenience. When logging in to MyUE your User Name will be your full UE Email.

* MyUE is available to deposited or registered incoming students, current UE students, and employees.

STEP 5 – VISIT BlackBoard*

Click the "BlackBoard" box or visit bblearn.517b2b.com. BlackBoard is a web-based learning management system. Many of your faculty at UE will use BlackBoard in your classes. BlackBoard may also be used for placement exams requested prior to course registration.

* Blackboard is available to deposited or registered incoming students, current UE students, and employees.

Links to these services and more are always available from the Campus Community page of the UE website.
